The Carolina Panthers can emerge from the first month of the 2020 season with a .500 record, just like everybody predicted.
Things looked bleak for the young roster after two straight defeats to start the campaign. However, the Carolina Panthers dug deep to claim a priceless win at SoFi Stadium in Week 3 that could be the catalyst for bigger and better things in the future.
This weekend’s clash against the Arizona Cardinals is going to be another stiff challenge. But if the Panthers can overcome a playoff contender at this stage of the transition, then it is going to be another significant shot in the arm for a young roster that showed considerable improvements at the Chargers.
It will not be easy, of that there is little doubt. Arizona has playmakers everywhere you look and needs every single member of Carolina’s roster to play their part.
The betting firms across the country make the Cardinals a slight favorite, but this is a situation that might change if DeAndre Hopkins is unable to suit up. The All-Pro wide receiver has missed practice this week and the Panthers’ outlook would be far more promising if they didn’t come up against the prolific player in this one.
