Which members of the Carolina Panthers have been the biggest surprises with one-quarter of the 2020 season in the books?

It has been an encouraging start to the 2020 season overall for the Carolina Panthers. They have grown in stature with each passing game and find themselves at 2-2 after rolling off two straight victories against talented opposition.

Any momentum the Carolina Panthers can generate from the current campaign will be a bonus. Their expected rebuilding phase to becoming a possible contender might happen quicker than most originally suspected, which is down in no small part to the way this young group has bought into what head coach Matt Rhule is trying to implement across the organization.

There is still a long way to go to get some sort of respectability from the current campaign. The Panthers have some tough upcoming challenges they need to overcome. But if they continue to trend on an upward curve then there is simply no telling just what this unit is capable of.

One of the main reasons for Carolina’s ability to perform above expectations is some surprising contributions from members of their roster. This has helped their cause considerably and allowed both sides of the ball to come up with big plays on a consistent basis.

Hopefully, for Rhule and the Panthers, this is something they can continue throughout the current campaign and beyond. Let’s take a look at four players who have turned in surprising performances through the first quarter of the 2020 campaign.
