Which members of the Carolina Panthers need to step up in order to secure their third straight win at the Atlanta Falcons in Week 5?

The Carolina Panthers could get themselves to a winning record with victory at the Atlanta Falcons in Week 5. This would be beyond even the most optimistic expectations through the first few games and it has the potential to provide another massive feather in the cap for new head coach Matt Rhule, who has made an encouraging start to life in an NFL environment.

There is plenty of reasons to suspect that the Carolina Panthers might break their recent hoodoo at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Sunday. They go into the contest with plenty of confidence and the Falcons are suffering from a distinct lack of exactly this after a catastrophic opening to the campaign.

Another loss would all-but seal the end of Dan Quinn’s tenure in Atlanta. The organization hasn’t been the same since their capitulation in the Super Bowl. Couple this with two collapses so far this season and it is another worrying element that the head coach needs to be held accountable for.

The Falcons might also be without the services of Julio Jones, who left their game at the Green Bay Packers at half-time due to a lingering hamstring issue that continues to be problematic for the All-Pro. If he doesn’t prove his fitness in time, then it is another big boost for Carolina’s chances of a third consecutive triumph.

Let’s take a look at four Panthers players that need to step up and perform well on the road in Atlanta.
