4 Panthers players who need to step up at the Falcons in Week 5

D.J. Moore – Carolina Panthers WR
D.J. Moore might be the man who capitalists on the extra attention being given to Robby Anderson this week. The free-agent signing has received national recognition for his exceptional start to life with the Carolina Panthers and this won’t have gone unnoticed by the Falcons.
Much will depend on whether first-round cornerback A.J. Terrell is ready to make a return following his spell on the reserve/COVID-19 list. But this represents an outstanding opportunity for Moore to make his presence felt against a suspect secondary in Atlanta.
Moore has gotten off to an adequate start to the season. He has suffered some timing issues with quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, who has obviously identified Anderson as his primary weapon in the passing game during the early stages of his transition under center.
This is something that will improve over time. Moore is far too gifted to be a complementary piece on any offense and the wideout will be looking to get close to the 100-yard receiving mark, something he has done just once so far in 2020.
The former first-round pick has an enticing matchup. If Bridgewater can get the necessary protection then it should come with a big game for Moore if he steps up his level of performance.
