Carolina Panthers at Falcons: Prediction
- Panthers 35 Falcons 24
This is the perfect chance for the Carolina Panthers to make another bold statement regarding their chances going forward. They are coming up against a team devoid of any confidence and this should allow their offense to put some considerable points on the board.
Considering the Green Bay Packers put up 30 on Monday Night Football without the likes of Davante Adams and Allen Lazard, then it can only mean good things for the Panthers in this one. They have some devastating weapons on offense and a defensive structure that looks far more reliable now than it did at the start of the campaign.
As stated previously, getting off to a good start will be key. This will not only stamp their authority on proceedings. But it will also cast further doubt into the mind of Atlanta’s roster that is fast becoming one of the NFL’s biggest disappointments.
Taking the Falcons too lightly could well cost the Panthers. Matt Rhule has wanted his roster not to get too ahead of themselves and this added sense of perspective could be the difference between the two sides on Sunday.

Generating momentum over the last fortnight is just the start. What comes next will be equally as important and Carolina needs to take advantage of the current plight of Dan Quinn and the Falcons with a clinical performance they appear more than capable of.
