4 most important Panthers players at the Falcons in Week 5

John Miller – Carolina Panthers OG
One of the primary objectives for the Carolina Panthers will be to keep Grady Jarrett out of the backfield. The defensive tackle is an absolute nightmare to deal with on the interior and their protection has no room for error when it comes to limiting his impact on proceedings.
This responsibility will fall primarily on the shoulders of John Miller. The free-agent signing has recovered well from a rocky start and has provided an assured presence over the last fortnight, which has coincided with a two-game winning run for the Panthers against the odds.
Miller signed a one-year, $4 million deal and was coveted heavily by Carolina in free agency. Judging by what we have seen from the player in Weeks 3 and 4, it is not hard to see why.
The former third-round pick will get some help from center Matt Paradis, who is enjoying something of a renaissance in 2020. Miller also has the benefit of Taylor Moton at right tackle to call upon if needed. But he will be tasked with keeping the returning Takkarist McKinley quiet for the most part.
Providing Miller can come through this significant challenge relatively unscathed, then it is going to do his chances of a longer stay with the organization a substantial amount of good.
