Foyesade Oluokun – LB

Foyesade Oluokun has been a shining light for a Falcons defense that has been a weak link, for the most part, this season. The versatile linebacker has grown in stature with an increased role in 2020 and there could be more to come from the player with more experience under his belt.

Oluokun’s story is an inspiring one. He was drafted in the sixth round back in 2018 and has risen steadily up Atlanta’s depth chart. The player initially came into the league as a defensive back, but it didn’t take long for the Falcons to realize that his athletic prowess would be better suited to the second level.

Their confidence in Oluokun’s ability has been further reflected this season, which has taken the player’s game to new heights. The former Yale standout already has three forced fumbles on his record through four games and his high football IQ has enabled him to be around the ball consistently.

The Carolina Panthers have moved the ball superbly well on offense with Teddy Bridgewater under center. This has been highlighted more in the last two weeks in the absence of All-Pro running back Christian McCaffrey, but they will still need to watch Oluokun given his ability to create turnovers.
