The Carolina Panthers beat their division rival Falcons in Atlanta for the first time since 2014. Fans should celebrate but the road gets a lot tougher moving forward. Here’s which players should be in your fantasy lineup in Week 6.

The Carolina Panthers are currently in the same place they were at this time last year. After losing their first two games, the team is now on a three-game winning streak and overachieving based on early expectations from fans and NFL analysts.

A lot was at stake for the Atlanta Falcons including their playoff hopes and their head coach Dan Quinn’s job. The Carolina Panthers were able to play spoiler to both by doing something they’ve hadn’t done since 2014, win on the road at their NFC South rival. For the second week in a row, Carolina won by playing great defense and protecting quarterback Teddy Bridgewater by not allowing a sack.

Compared to 2019, the Panthers have almost completely different personnel and coaching staff, but the more things change, the more they stay the same. And Carolina will have to find a way to win some very tough games after enjoying this early success.

The combined record of the Panthers’ next five opponents is 14-11. In that five-game span, Carolina will also have to travel to two of the toughest locales in the NFL: Arrowhead Stadium to take on the Kansas City Chiefs and the Mercedes Benz Dome for a match against the New Orleans Saints, which might be moved to LSU’s Tiger Stadium if an agreement can be reached.

While these games will be easier without 70,000+ opposing fans clamoring in the stands, the teams are still considered Super Bowl contenders by many. But the Panthers will have to face this test one game at a time, starting at home against the Chicago Bears this Sunday.

Here’s some fantasy analysis to help you win Week 6.
