What are some of the key matchups to watch when the Carolina Panthers welcome the in-form Chicago Bears to Bank of America Stadium?

The Carolina Panthers can give their ever-increasing playoff hopes another huge shot in the arm with a victory against the Chicago Bears in Week 6. This is arguably the stiffest test Matt Rhule’s men have faced this season, with Matt Nagy’s side coming into the contest with a 4-1 record and a defense that is back to its dominant self.

There is going to be no room for error in this one. The Carolina Panthers need to take their chances on offense when they come and continue to show some eye-catching progression on the defensive side of the ball against quarterback Nick Foles, who came in for the struggling Mitchell Trubisky earlier this season.

If the Panthers can come away with a fourth straight success, which they are more than capable of, then the sky is the limit for this team. Everything needs to come good for Carolina to achieve this. But the way that they have adjusted and developed with every passing game leaves some real cause for encouragement despite the size of the task awaiting them.

This would give them even more momentum heading into their trip to the New Orleans Saints the following weekend, who will be coming off a bye and could even be playing the game at LSU’s Tiger Stadium in order to allow some fans into the stands.

Looking past the Bears would be foolish, especially given the way they are performing of late. Let’s take a look at four key matchups that could play a substantial role in the game’s overall outcome.
