Otaro Alaka – Baltimore Ravens

Otaro Alaka‘s lack of involvement with the Baltimore Ravens might see the team move the player with the right sort of deal and this represents another player of interest for the Carolina Panthers as some additional depth at the linebacker position.

The Ravens have a sensational defense that has left chances limited for Alaka, who went undrafted out of Texas A&M in 2019. He has helped in special teams while he waits for a chance to shine in a starting role. But it would be foolish for Baltimore not to at least consider any offers that come in for the player before the deadline.

Alaka is a physically imposing individual who plays with an infectious enthusiasm that seems to be a good fit in Carolina. There is also plenty of scope for the player to improve with more time on the field and it is unlikely that the price would be steep given his standing on the Ravens depth chart.

This might seem a little harsh on Whitehead, but things only seem to be getting worse from a performance perspective. Alaka would be a shot in the dark. But nobody knows the college system more than Matt Rhule and he will be all-too-aware of just what the player could bring to the franchise.
