Roy Robertson-Harris – DL

The Chicago Bears boast arguably the NFL’s best defensive front. There doesn’t appear to be a weak link anywhere across the line of scrimmage and in Roy Robertson-Harris, they have another prominent force that can be highly disruptive.

Robertson-Harris might not fill up the stat sheet like a Khalil Mack. But that does not mean his contribution is any less important. The defensive lineman is a formidable presence to shift off the block that is going to make things extremely difficult for Mike Davis to gain yards on the ground.

While the former UTEP star has yet to record a sack during the 2020 season, Robertson-Harris does have five quarterback knockdowns and five pressures to his name through five games. This indicates that the player is getting into the backfield consistently, which further comes across when you study his film.

If the Carolina Panthers take someone with the physical attributes of Robertson-Harris lightly, then it is going to become a problem. They have gotten some outstanding protection from their offensive line so far this season. But it is hard to deny that this isn’t their sternest test of the campaign so far by a considerable margin.

Coping with the likes of Mack and Akiem Hicks is going to be critical. But how they counteract Robertson-Harris will be equally as important to the overall outcome.
