Kyle Pitts – Florida

One of the players that immediately jumps out is Kyle Pitts. The Florida standout has been a revelation during the first few games of the 2020 season and this has boosted his draft stock considerably in a short space of time.

Pitts has everything one looks for in a pass-catching tight end at the next level. He is a supremely gifted athlete who has a rare blend of speed and physicality that helps him get open almost at will.

This is further reflected in the outstanding opening to the campaign Pitts has made with the Gators. He already has seven touchdowns to his name from just 17 receptions, which is sure to make him a hot commodity during the evaluation process.

The prospect also comes with the sort of versatility that the Carolina Panthers love. Pitts can operate next to the tackle, in the slot, or even on the outside with equal effect and if he can improve the quickness of his cuts, then someone is going to have an exceptional player on their hands.

One area of Pitts’ game that needs some work is blocking. There is little technique needed thanks to his rangy arms and strength. But this will not exactly fly in the pro ranks against more accomplished pass-rushers consistently.
