. . Detroit Lions. 3. team. 50.

Detroit Lions

The Lions came into the season as a possible playoff sleeper thanks to their talented roster. But it is clear that this is a team that isn’t being coached well.

That falls squarely on the shoulders of Matt Patricia. He arrived in Detroit as the latest member of the Bill Belichick coaching tree, which normally comes with lofty expectations. But to say things haven’t gone according to plan would be something of an understatement.

This has led to plenty of speculation regarding Patricia’s future. This should be a job he keeps until the end of the campaign, but anything beyond that would be a huge surprise at this point.

Joe Brady would be a name that might be able to swing momentum in the Lions’ favor. They have some nice pieces on both sides of the ball and might even be in a position to get a long-term replacement for Matthew Stafford such as Justin Fields in the 2021 NFL Draft.

The likes of Kenny Golladay and D’Andre Swift are others who would see large increases in production under Brady and after the Lions failed miserably with a defensive-minded coach in Patricia, they might just opt to go in the opposite direction with their next opponent.
