Who are some potential difference-makers for the Carolina Panthers as they prepare for a trip to the New Orleans Saints in Week 7?

The time has almost come for the Carolina Panthers to take the field once again. Their NFC South divisional matchup at the New Orleans Saints sees Matt Rhule’s men go in as significant underdogs and it would be a huge turn up for the books if they managed to come away with an upset.

It might be a daunting task awaiting them, but having little in the way of expectations has done the Carolina Panthers some good at stages of the campaign. To have a 3-3 record at this juncture can be considered an achievement, but this has the possibility to change if their improving roster cannot emerge from some tough games over the next month with any positives to show for their efforts.

There are so many intriguing elements to this game. Teddy Bridgewater is heading back to New Orleans after starring for the team during a five-game stretch in 2019, with ex-assistant Joe Brady also locking horns with one of his key mentors in Sean Payton for the first time.

This is a game the Saints should win. But there is nothing to suggest Carolina cannot be competitive despite dealing with some significant injuries and COVID-19 related problems during their Week 7 preparations.

Some individuals need to make leading contributions to give them any chance of unlikely success. Here are four Panthers players who have the potential to become difference-makers in New Orleans.
