Which members of the New Orleans Saints should the Carolina Panthers worry about in their crucial Week 7 NFC South divisional matchup?

It promises to be another can’t-miss game between two NFC South rivals when the Carolina Panthers travel to New Orleans for a pivotal clash at the Saints in Week 7. Matt Rhule’s men need to bounce back following defeat against the Chicago Bears last time out, but this is going to be another stern test of their credentials in the face of talented opposition.

The Carolina Panthers are currently at 3-3, which can be considered way ahead of schedule in relation to what was expected before the season got underway. There is still much work to be done if the organization wants to keep surprising people and given the strength of teams upcoming before their Week 13 bye, it is going to be a stiff challenge to come away with a winning record.

That being said, the Panthers have performed well in the role of underdogs this season., They’ve been favored in only one game so far, which was only slightly against the Bears. So the longer this young and improving roster can stay under the radar, the better their chances will be.

Carolina is currently dealing with some injury problems which will damage their chances of a potential upset. Cornerback Rasul Douglas will be a big miss, but there is some hope that cornerback Eli Apple can play some part against a team he turned out for in 2019.

It will be a monumental task, of that there is little doubt. Here are four Saints players that the Panthers need to pay close attention to in pursuit of an unlikely victory.
