Cameron Jordan – DE

Another big problem facing the Carolina Panthers is Cameron Jordan. The defensive end has long been know as one of the NFL’s most feared pass-rushers and shows no signs of slowing down despite his advancing years.

If the Panthers don’t take Jordan’s threat seriously, it is going to be a problem. The former first-round pick might only have 1.5 sacks to his name in 2020, but his four tackles for loss, three quarterback hits, and four pressures have been an eye-catching element to his overall contribution.

Fortunately, Carolina has an exceptional edge protector who has the capability to limit Jordan’s influence considerably. Taylor Moton is firing on all cylinders this season as he looks for a big-money extension from the organization next spring. His elevation to one of the NFL’s best at the position is now complete and he has passed some stiff challenges with flying colors so far this season.

Pass-rushing phenoms like Joey Bosa and Chandler Jones wanted no part of Moton this season. Jordan is sure to relish the challenge and this will be an intriguing battle for supremacy to keep a close eye on.

Jordan’s 78.6 grade from Pro Football Focus is a testament to how well he’s started the season. But he’ll have to work hard for similar success coming up against a formidable adversary such as Moton.
