Which members of the Carolina Panthers emerged as unsung heroes during their narrow 27-24 loss to the New Orleans Saints in Week 7?

The Carolina Panthers can be largely encouraged by their level of performance at the New Orleans Saints. Pushing such a talented roster right down to the wire is no mean feat. But how they bounce-back following their second straight loss is going to tell us plenty about what sort of character head coach Matt Rhule has within the locker room.

Things are steadily progressing for the Carolina Panthers despite the obvious need for quality reinforcements in positions that are causing some concern. Whether the decision-makers opt to sort this at the trade deadline or wait until next spring is unclear at this juncture. But given how well the team is doing in the face of some stern competition, they might choose to strengthen their chances right now.

That will be something to keep a close eye on in the coming weeks.

For now, there were some roleplayers on the Panthers who produced encouraging displays during their time on the field on Sunday. If these individuals can keep this up in the coming weeks, it will only enhance Carolina’s chances of progression.

They are coming up against plenty of formidable adversaries over the next month. The Kansas City Chiefs, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers form two out of the Panthers’ next three games, with their Thursday Night Football clash against the Falcons this week another game that Carolina shouldn’t take for granted.

Let’s take a look at four Panthers players who emerged as unsung heroes for the team in Week 7.
