4 Panthers players who were unsung heroes at the Saints in Week 7

Taylor Moton – Carolina Panthers OT
Taylor Moton‘s exemplary start to the 2020 season might be going relatively unnoticed by anyone outside of the Carolina Panthers. But if things continue as they are, this won’t be the case for much longer.
The offensive tackle has been at the very top of his game through seven weeks, which continued with another polished display in the face of one of the NFL’s best pass-rushers in Cameron Jordan. Moton held the Pro Bowler to just one combined tackle, restricting his ability to generate a sack or even a quarterback hit during the contest.
This only enhances the former second-round pick’s claims for a bumper new deal next spring. Spotrac now predicts Moton to command an annual salary of $16.3 million when he heads to the negotiating table, which is a stark contrast to the £1.03 million in base salary the player is earning this season.
If the Panthers want to fulfill their ambitions of becoming a postseason contender, they must do everything in their power to keep Moton around. He has given up one sack and one penalty from 446 snaps this season on his way to an eye-catching 79.3 grade from Pro Football Focus, emerging as an indispensable member of the organization in the process.
