What are some of the keys to victory for the Carolina Panthers when they clash with the Atlanta Falcons once again on Thursday Night Football?

Considering how difficult it will be for the Carolina Panthers in the weeks following their game against the Atlanta Falcons at Bank of America Stadium, it is vital they come away with the victory. Matt Rhule’s men face the Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers in back-to-back contests after their Thursday Night Football encounter, so they need to generate some momentum ahead of a challenging fortnight.

This is something they are more than capable of. The Carolina Panthers already boast one win over the Falcons so far this season and given Atlanta’s latest collapse last time out against the Detroit Lions, there could be another opportunity to take advantage of their vulnerability.

The Panthers have been competitive in almost every game this season. This is something that few expected from an organization that was gutted from top to bottom in a bid to turnaround their fortunes and it has given Carolina’s fanbase a sense of optimism that hasn’t been seen for some time.

Carolina opened up as three-point favorites for their latest NFC South divisional matchup. This is the second time they’ve been favored this season – the first coming in their disappointing home loss to the Chicago Bears.

It seems the Panthers are better in the role of an underdog at this stage. But this won’t be the case for much longer if their young and improving roster continues to make strides.

Here are four keys to victory for the Panthers against the Falcons as they look to get themselves back to a .500 record.
