Robby Anderson will score his second touchdown as a Panther

It’s perfectly clear that Robby Anderson is one of the best free-agent additions in the entire NFL. The wide receiver is currently second in receiving yards with 640 and is now regarded as the top option for quarterback Teddy Bridgewater.

With those accolades, it seems weird that Anderson only has one touchdown on the year. The Carolina Panthers have generally moved the ball well throughout the season but they sit near the bottom of the league with only 23.1 points per game.

Their red zone offense is also a glaring weakness and neither Anderson nor D.J. Moore has scored a touchdown from inside the 20-yard line this season.

The Panthers will take touchdowns however they can get them. But getting their best wideout in the end zone has to be something offensive coordinator Joe Brady is gunning for.

After a quiet start to the 2020 season, Moore has stepped up his productivity in the past three weeks. He’s got 279 yards and three touchdowns and is now forcing teams to “pick their poison” as both he and Anderson have explosive playmaking ability.

Atlanta is the perfect opponent for this prediction. They rank 31st in passing yards and passing touchdowns allowed this season. Anderson also bullied the Falcons in Week 5 to the tune of eight receptions for 112 yards.
