Panthers vs. Falcons: Prediction and best bets for Week 8 clash

Carolina Panthers vs. Falcons: Prediction
The Carolina Panthers have more to play for than the Falcons, who are just looking for some semblance of respectability after a dismal start to the campaign. This might just be enough to get them over the line in a high-scoring affair.
They will take a significant amount of confidence from last weekend’s loss at the Saints. And the fact Carolina has already beaten their Week 8 adversary this season is another psychological advantage that shouldn’t be overlooked.
Coming up against a team so soon after their first contest is tricky. Wounds from the Falcons’ perspective will still be fresh and this is something that the Panthers need to be wary of if they want to do the double over their NFC South rival and get themselves back to .500 in the process.
This is a trap game at Bank of America Stadium for Matt Rhule’s men. Nobody will know that more than the head coach himself and although their play might be a little sluggish on a short week, it would be an extreme disappointment if Carolina wasn’t able to come away with notable success.
Prediction: Atlanta Falcons 27 Carolina Panthers 34
The Falcons have enough talent to keep it close. But their confidence must be at an all-time low after their latest collapse and the Panthers have to take advantage of this fragile state of mind.
