4 key Panthers matchups to watch at the Chiefs in Week 9

Two of the speediest players in the league lock horns this weekend when cornerback Donte Jackson lines up against wide receiver Tyreek Hill. This will be a can’t miss matchup and is sure to have big ramifications on which team picks up a positive result.
The Carolina Panthers made Jackson their No. 1 corner option this offseason when James Bradberry left in free agency for the New York Giants. He’s performed well despite dealing with a toe issue, which is clearly hampering him on the field.
Jackson faces a tough challenge in Week 9. Hill is one of the NFL’s most dynamic receivers and he continues to be a threat to score almost every time he touches the ball.
His ability to hurt opposing defenses in different ways is astonishing. Hill is a primary deep threat who is equally as effective on short-to-intermediate routes, which will represent a significant problem for the Panthers if Jackson isn’t up to the challenge.
Hill already has 35 receptions, 537 receiving yards, and seven touchdowns to his name this season. The wideout will see this as a good opportunity to bolster his numbers against a defense that has shown some improvements since the season began.
