Fantasy Football outlook for the Carolina Panthers in Week 10
Joey Slye – Carolina Panthers K
It was a weird day for Joey Slye at Arrowhead Stadium. He made all four extra points and only one of his three field goals attempts, but he gets a pass for missing the 67-yard try to win the game.
All in all, Slye netted a respectable seven fantasy points. As we mentioned in the fantasy outlook last week, he is going to have to make a 50+ yard field goal this season if he wants to keep his job.
He missed a 51-yard kick in the third quarter and it ended up being the difference in a two-point loss.

Slye didn’t have a big day in the last game against the Buccaneers, but he may have to make some big kicks in this matchup against a stout defense that only gives up about 23 points per game.
Carolina Panthers DST
With only two sacks, one takeaway, and 33 points allowed the Carolina Panthers fantasy defense wasn’t anything to write home about. In reality, the defense has continued to overachieve and has helped to keep games from getting out of hand.
Carolina’s defense is ranked in the top half of the league in takeaways, rushing yards allowed per game, and points per game, in addition to being near the top half in total yards per game.

SIT.
Carolina is overachieving but they don’t have the talent to do what the Saints did against the Buccaneers on Sunday Night Football. While the Panthers defense may be able to grab a couple of takeaways, we don’t recommend underestimating the Buccaneers this week.
Tom Brady doesn’t lose back to back games and he still has a wealth of offensive talent at his disposal.
