4 keys to victory for the Panthers vs. the Bucs in Week 10

What are the keys to victory for the Carolina Panthers vs. the Bucs in Week 10?
We are now just a few short hours away from the Carolina Panthers locking horns with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in their second showdown of the 2020 season. Things didn’t go the way of Matt Rhule’s men during their first outing – a 31-17 loss at Raymond James Stadium – and they are dealing with some significant injury problems within an already threadbare roster.
This is one of the key reasons why the Buccaneers are heavily favored to make a swift return to winning ways following their humbling loss at the Saints on Sunday Night Football. Quarterback Tom Brady rarely loses back to back games and not having Christian McCaffrey in the backfield is another big blow to the Carolina Panthers and their chances of victory.
It is a huge ask for Carolina’s young, depleted roster. But the challenge is one they are sure to relish.
They go into the divisional matchup knowing they are more than capable of mixing it with the NFL’s best. But finding a way to come through in the clutch is stage No. 2 for the Panthers en route to becoming postseason contenders in the future.
Here are four keys to victory for Carolina in pursuit of pulling off an upset at Bank of America Stadium.
Stop giving away soft penalties
The last thing that the Panthers need during such a tough game is getting in their own way. They’ve conceded some soft penalties in critical moments during their four-game slump and this is something that simply cannot continue if Carolina wants to turn things around.
Having discipline is a huge part of any successful NFL team. If the Panthers are serious about getting to the next level and knocking off Super Bowl contenders like the Buccaneers, then this is an area where they need to show a marked improvement.
Providing they can do this, Carolina might just have a chance.
