Limit the Bucs’ passing attack

Yes, this is easier said than done. But it is crucial nonetheless.

The Buccaneers have arguably the most potent passing attack in the NFL. They are loaded with Pro Bowlers and All-Pros everywhere you look and it is nothing short of an embarrassment of riches for Tom Brady to utilize.

Mike Evans torched the Carolina Panthers for big yardage and a score in Week 2. He now has Chris Godwin opposite him on the field after the talented wideout suffered his fair share of injury problems during the first half of the campaign.

The acquisition of Antonio Brown following an eight-game suspension has been well documented, and the controversial receiver was heavily involved from a snap count perspective on debut. There is also the primary threat of tight end Rob Gronkowski to consider, with others such as Scotty Miller also able to make a real difference.

This is a stiff test for the Panthers secondary, who are getting safety Juston Burris back into the mix after he was formally activated on Saturday. There isn’t much any team can do to prevent the Bucs from making plays in this area, they are just that talented. But how much Carolina can limit them will go a long way to determining the game’s outcome.
