Fantasy football predictions for Carolina Panthers players in Week 11.

The outlook for the remainder of the Carolina Panthers season was already bleak. But it seems to have gotten worse.

The Carolina Panthers were blown out at home against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and that wasn’t the only loss. Quarterback Teddy Bridgewater suffered a right knee injury in the fourth quarter and his status for Sunday is uncertain. The team’s injury report is lengthy and a serious argument can be made for putting the quarterback, Christian McCaffrey, and Donte Jackson on the shelf for the last six games.

As a fan, I’m encouraged by what I saw in the first five weeks.

Unfortunately, the Panthers faced a five-game gauntlet against teams with a combined record of 30-17. The reality is and has always been that the future of this team is just that – the future. Carolina’s front office and coaching staff are trying to figure out what works and how they want to shape the franchise.

While there’s plenty of blame to go around regarding why this season has taken such an ugly turn, almost everyone agrees that Matt Rhule was the right hire as head coach. Up until the Tampa Bay game, he had this team playing above their level, especially considering the absence of McCaffrey.

Using that as a starting point and with a few more games to play, the future of the team looks bright. Here’s a look at how the Panthers will perform in fantasy this week against the Detroit Lions.
