Carolina Panthers Quarterbacks

Teddy Bridgewater had a nice day against the Buccaneers from a fantasy standpoint, netting 19 points in the loss. The offense had an exceptional first half and going into the third quarter, he had the exact same passer rating of 133.2 as opposing quarterback Tom Brady. Unfortunately, the team cratered in the third quarter and his knee injury doesn’t make matters any better.

With the status of Bridgewater up in the air, Rhule will have to choose between P.J. Walker and Will Grier to be the starting quarterback against Detriot.

Start or Sit in Week 11?

SIT.

It’s a good idea, in general, to sit whoever starts this week. The Lions are an average team but there’s no real reason to put your fantasy squad in the hands of a backup or a physically limited player.

Mike Davis – Carolina Panthers RB

The former South Carolina running back doesn’t care about your fantasy team. His production on the field has left much to be desired throughout the five-game losing streak and fantasy owners have let him know it. Mike Davis wasn’t shy about clapping back at fans for bugging him about his numbers, to put it mildly.

If this season has taught us anything, it’s that Christian McCaffrey was worth every penny of his four-year, $16 million a year contract. Davis is a nice player, but No. 22 is transcendent, and replacing his production is not an easy fix.

Start or Sit in Week 11?

START.

The Lions have been very generous to running backs this season and in the last four weeks, averaging about 28 fantasy points per game against Detroit. If he stays healthy, Davis has the ability to produce a 20-point day.

Maybe that will keep the fantasy football trolls off his back for a while.
