Curtis Samuel – Carolina Panthers WR

Curtis Samuel may have been disappointing last weekend against the Buccaneers. But the wide receiver reverted back to his old form in Week 11. The do-it-all offensive weapon continues to make some significant strides this season and could arguably be one of the league’s most improved players when it’s all said and done.

Robby Anderson and D.J. Moore get most of the attention and acclaim thanks to their standout efforts this season. However, Samuel’s level of production after finally finding his place in Joe Brady’s scheme is making him a star in his own right.

This couldn’t come at a better time for the former Ohio State standout, who is in a contract year and is making himself some big money thanks to a series of exceptional displays that will generate a tremendous amount of interest on the free-agent market if the Carolina Panthers let things get that far.

It would be a monumental mistake if they did.

Weapons like Samuel don’t grow on trees. His eight catches for 70 yards and a touchdown were further proof of just how vital he is to Carolina’s offense moving forward and the organization should do everything in their power to try and keep him long-term.
