Carolina Panthers at Washington Football Team – Week 16

  • Prediction – Win

Former head coach Ron Rivera will be looking to gain revenge on the Carolina Panthers after they fired him during the 2019 campaign. What may be more important for Washington is a possible shot at winning the NFC East championship and booking an unlikely spot in the playoffs.

The fact that Washington still has something to play for down the stretch is a damning indictment of just how poor this division is. Much will depend on what happens over the next few weeks, but there is still plenty to play for on both sides who should be familiar with one another.

Carolina’s dynamic pieces on offense could make all the difference against a suspect Washington secondary.

Carolina Panthers vs. New Orleans Saints – Week 17

  • Prediction – Win

The New Orleans Saints are a formidable adversary, of that there is little doubt. But they might have the divisional crown wrapped up by this point that will see some rotational pieces used more prominently during their final game of the regular season.

This could work to the Panthers’ advantage. They will be going all-out to end the campaign on a high and there will be some members of the roster that will be looking to impress in order to possibly avoid getting cut or not getting their contracts extended during another pivotal offseason period in 2021.
