Christian McCaffrey could make a big impact after the bye week

Christian McCaffrey’s potential impact after the bye
Providing Christian McCaffrey is at 100 percent following a good period of rest before the Carolina Panthers take the field in Week 14 against the Denver Broncos, it should come with some outstanding production. He won’t have much wear and tear in terms of impact on his body after missing most of the season and this might enable the best dual-threat running back in the NFL to make a real difference.
There is nothing to suggest that the Panthers cannot be hugely competitive in their remaining five games. The shutout victory against the Lions will give them a significant amount of confidence and if they can get McCaffrey firing on all cylinders, it’s going to help enormously.
Finishing off a rollercoaster campaign on a high note will be important for both McCaffrey and the Panthers. The player wants to put a disappointing season from an injury perspective behind him and Carolina needs to get more wins on the board in their pursuit of becoming an attractive destination for free agents during an important offseason period in 2021.
Players like McCaffrey don’t grow on trees, which is why Carolina had to keep him at all costs. Things haven’t exactly gone according to plan since, but the player has the chance to finish on a high note following the well-deserved Week 13 bye.
