Stopping the Packers from getting the No. 1 seed

The Carolina Panthers also get the chance to prevent the Green Bay Packers from obtaining the No. 1 seed with a win at Lambeau Field in Week 15. This game was recently moved to a primetime slot on Saturday Night Football, which is a platform for Matt Rhule’s men to show just how far they’ve come this season.

This is a daunting challenge even without fans in the stands at the storied stadium. Green Bay looks primed for another deep postseason run that would be significantly aided by a first-round bye that they are in contention to achieve if everything goes their way down the stretch,

Aaron Rodgers is back to the player of old after some cracks began to show in 2019. He appears far more comfortable in Matt LaFleur’s offensive scheme and this has brought some outstanding wins throughout the campaign.

They also have a defense that can make a real difference in big moments, which is another primary reason they’re sitting at 7-3 and just one game behind the New Orleans Saints. Things might look far better had they not suffered recent losses to the Vikings and Colts, which could end up costing them in the long run.

There is no more room for error where the Packers are concerned and success for Carolina in this one might just put pay to their chances of getting some much-needed rest before the playoffs.
