4 things for Panthers fans to look forward to after the bye week

Individual honors for Brian Burns and Jeremy Chinn
Brian Burns and Jeremy Chinn have been the heartbeat of the Carolina Panthers from a defensive standpoint this season. Phil Snow’s group has steadily improved with every passing game and having two dynamic, young playmakers in this duo have aided their cause considerably.
Their outstanding level of production has gained some eye-catching headlines and recognition from the national media of late, which might come with some individual accolades at the end of the campaign.
Stud edge rusher Burns led all NFC defensive ends after the first round of Pro Bowl voting and judging by how much he’s progressed since his rookie year, it’s not hard to see why.
The former Florida State sensation has developed into a three-down lineman that can make a serious difference on almost every down. And although the Pro Bowl will be on the Madden video game due to COVID-19 this year, receiving this distinction is still classed as a notable achievement.
Chinn is now the clear frontrunner for NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year after lighting up the league from the moment he stepped on the field. His transition from safety to outside linebacker couldn’t have gone better and his historic back-to-back touchdowns were a further testament to just what a special player he is.
