Everybody needs a big brother like Stanley McClover

How McClover is helping Burns
Stanley McClover will be the first to tell you that it is Brian Burns’ work ethic and special talent that is propelling him to NFL superstardom. But his overall influence is something that shouldn’t be overlooked.
One only has to look at his Twitter account or listen to his podcast to see that.
McClover is constantly banging the Burns drum on social media platforms, and with good reason. The pass-rushing phenom has made some significant strides in his sophomore campaign to quickly emerge as one of the league’s brightest young defensive ends.

He has led all NFC players at the position through the first two rounds of Pro Bowl voting, making him a virtual lock to deservedly earn his first selection in only his second season. Having a strong support system for advice has been invaluable to Burns’ progress and McClover deserves huge credit for that.
It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that Burns is destined for great things. And it must be a great feeling to know that your big brother has your back no matter what.
In a year that has brought more trials and tribulations than most, family values have become increasingly important and the relationship between Burns and McClover is one of the more heart-warming things the Carolina Panthers can take from the current campaign.
