4 key Panthers matchups to watch vs. the Broncos in Week 14

Donte Jackson vs. Jerry Jeudy
One major plus for the Carolina Panthers heading into their Week 14 game against the Broncos is the return to health of Donte Jackson. The cornerback has been constantly bothered by a toe injury during the campaign and it will have been nearly a month out of action after the coaching staff finally took him out of the firing line.
Whether Jackson will be at 100 percent or not remains to be seen. There didn’t seem to be any limitations during the first practice since they returned to the team facility on Wednesday and all signs point to the former LSU standout making his presence felt.
Jackson is sure to get all he can handle from Jerry Jeudy. The first-round pick came into the NFL with the biggest of ceilings after starring for Alabama in college and although he has been outshone by the likes of CeeDee Lamb and Justin Jefferson, there is a lot to like about his chances of forging a hugely successful career at the next level.
The wideout has brought in 38 receptions for 594 receiving yards and two touchdowns during his rookie year so far. However, Jeudy’s catch percentage of 46.3 is a serious cause for concern that needs to improve moving forward.
If Jackson can get some early momentum in the particular matchup, it’s going to do Carolina’s chances the world of good as their No. 1 cornerback option looks to finish strongly down the stretch.
