Robby Anderson – Carolina Panthers WR

With so much uncertainty surrounding the status of Curtis Samuel, D.J. Moore, and Christian McCaffrey, the Carolina Panthers will need a big performance from Robby Anderson against the Broncos. The free-agent signing has been much better than expected during his first season with the franchise and he seems to be thriving away from the moribund New York Jets.

Anderson needs just 88 receiving yards to get himself to the 1,000-yard mark for the first time in his professional career. This is a testament to how well he’s performed in a new environment and considering the volume of targets set to come his way on Sunday, it would be a huge shock if this milestone wasn’t achieved in Week 14.

The former Temple standout will be a tough task coming up against Bryce Callahan, who is one of the more productive cornerbacks in the league.

Anderson needs to make a difference all over the field to give the Panthers a solid opportunity to put up some notable points despite looking as if they’ll be under-strength in terms of weapons available to quarterback Teddy Bridgewater.

There is nothing to suggest that Anderson is not more than capable of this. He has brought in 73.5 percent of passes thrown his way this season – which is almost 20% higher than his previous best – and this reliability will stand the Panthers in good stead down the stretch and in 2021.
