Carolina Panthers vs. Broncos: Prediction

This could legitimately go either way.

Much will depend on just what sort of players are available for the Carolina Panthers as they go in search of their fifth win of the campaign. And they should be reinvigorated from their Week 13 bye that has obviously come with its fair share of repercussions.

Matt Rhule may be relying on some fringe players to get the job done in their penultimate home game of 2020. This might be the opportunity some have been waiting for and anyone who stands out with more game time could improve their chances of earning a more substantial role or even a new deal in the offseason.

Carolina needs to dig deep against a Broncos team who will smell blood.

Wanting to right the wrongs of their capitulation at the Minnesota Vikings should be motivation enough and they’ll also want to build some positive momentum ahead of their reunion with former head coach Ron Rivera at Washington the following weekend.

Prediction: Carolina Panthers 24 Broncos 21

The Panthers have shown tremendous resolve when their backs are against the wall. It won’t be easy, not by any stretch of the imagination. But providing they can get off to a good start it might come with a morale-boosting success to get the final quarter of the season off to the best possible start.
