Bold predictions for the Carolina Panthers vs. the Broncos in Week 14.

The Carolina Panthers host the Denver Broncos at Bank of America Stadium this Sunday in what should be another winnable game.

Some analysts thought this could be a breakout year from second-year quarterback Drew Lock, but it’s been the complete opposite. The Broncos have also spent the year without their best player and leader on defense, Super Bowl 50 MVP Von Miller, and this represents a good chance for the Carolina Panthers to pick up their fifth victory.

On Sunday, Carolina will be looking to reverse their forgettable recent history against Denver. We all know the Panthers suffered a crushing defeat to the Broncos in Super Bowl 50.

Carolina also lost in their matchup the following season in Week 1, on a missed Graham Gano field goal as time expired. The team never seemed to get over the loss and went 6-10 that season.

While the two teams are completely different this year. Panthers fans would be happy to see the team get some measure of revenge against the team that spurned them four years ago.

If they want to do it, Carolina will have to correct one of their biggest weaknesses.

Red zone efficiency.

While the Panthers have shown improvement at times, they failed to score a touchdown in three red-zone trips in their last game at Minnesota. That won’t win you games in the NFL, especially against Denver who shockingly ranks second in this category.

With two weeks to prepare for this opponent, we hope to see improvement. Here are three bold predictions for Sunday’s game at home against the Broncos.
