4 key Panthers matchups to watch at Packers in Week 15

D.J. Moore vs. Jaire Alexander
You’ll want to get the popcorn out for this one.
D.J. Moore is off the reserve/COVID-19 list and seems to have rid himself of the ankle problem that caused him to missed the crucial final minutes at the Minnesota Vikings. This will be a massive boost to the Carolina Panthers in a game they’re not expected to win and if the wideout can make his presence felt, it might make things more competitive than they appear going into the contest.
Getting notable yardage is going to be difficult for Moore, who is expected to put his outstanding skillset opposite Jaire Alexander in what promises to be a mouth-watering clash between two exciting young players at the top of their game.
Alexander has further enhanced his credentials as one of the NFL’s best cover-corners this season. The former No. 18 overall selection has given up just 28 receptions on 53 targets thrown his way in 2020 and his lofty 64.5 grade from Pro Football Focus is a further indicator of just how exceptional he’s been for the majority of the campaign.
Robby Anderson is another who might see plenty of Alexander depending on which receiver is having more success. However, Moore will need to hit the ground running after missing the Panthers’ previous encounter pitting wits against the best in the business.
