Carolina Panthers at Packers: Best Bets

It comes as no surprise that the Carolina Panthers go into their game at the Packers as heavy underdogs. The two teams look to be heading in completely different directions and not having star running back Christian McCaffrey only enhances the challenge awaiting Matt Rhule’s men in front of a national audience.

McCaffrey has managed just three games this season after not missing a single contest over his first three years in the league. The Panthers do have Mike Davis in the backfield – who has done well in the All-Pro’s absence – but there is just no telling what Carolina’s record would look like had they been able to utilize their best offensive weapon more during the campaign.

It’s not ideal.

But they’ll just have to soldier on and hope for better fortune in 2021.

Depending on where you look, the point spread is anywhere from 8-9.5 in Green Bay’s favor. One would be hard-pressed to make an argument for betting anything other than the Packers considering their recent form. But the Panthers normally keep things close no matter what the opposition.

Our advice? Bet the Packers -8 if you can get it.

The consensus over-under for the game is 51.5. Considering the temperatures for the game and the fact it is late in the season, then betting the under is probably the smart way to go.
