Mike Davis will finally rush for 100 yards.

The magic number is 21.

As the primary runner, when Mike Davis touches the ball 21 times, the Carolina Panthers win.

Carolina has moved off the run game too quickly as of late. But running the ball is the best recipe for success in a cold-weather encounter.

When your running back is Davis, who’s broken the third-most tackles (25) this season, it makes a ton of sense to use him a lot in this type of game.

Davis has impressed and needs 74 scrimmage yards to get to 1,000 on the season. After a disappointing overall performance against Denver, I think Joe Brady gets back to the game plan that kept the Panthers hanging on in Kansas City.

Christian McCaffrey got 28 touches for 151 yards and two scores which helped Carolina to control the pace of the game and come close to an upset.

The Packers are two spots ahead of the Panthers in run defense, so Davis has a legitimate shot to make an impact on the ground. All Joe Brady needs to do is to give him plenty of opportunities and it may lead to a closer game than people expect.
