This promises to be a close one, which is reflected by the betting line that stands between 1-2.5 points in Washington’s favor. Ron Rivera’s side has more to play for than the Carolina Panthers, who already have one eye on their end of season break and a critical preparation period in 2021 that is going to go a long way to determine whether they can become a playoff contender sooner rather than later.
It’s so hard to gauge how this game will go.
The Panthers will be in a more relaxed frame of mind knowing the pressure is all on Washington. But this added sense of urgency from the home team might be enough to get them over the line despite their questions at the quarterback position.

However, keep a close eye on the injury reports throughout the week, with star running back Christian McCaffrey and other key individuals looking likely to miss the game if they don’t show enough during practice this week.
The over-under for the game is 44.5, which appears to be right on the money but given what is at stake and the familiarity with both teams from a scheme perspective, betting the under might be the smart way to go.
