Trade Teddy Bridgewater

There is a chance that the Carolina Panthers look to explore possible trade options for Teddy Bridgewater in the offseason. Plenty of teams will be looking to make changes at the position and if they don’t find the necessary quality in free agency or the 2021 NFL Draft, then it might see the player generate some interest.

His contract isn’t the most friendly for a possible move to take place. And just what another organization would be willing to give up to acquire Bridgewater is up for debate.

This is not what the Panthers envisaged when they signed Bridgewater.

But things don’t always work out as expected in the NFL.

What they do with the Louisville product now is going to have big ramifications on their chances of possibly making the playoffs next time out. But they put themselves between a rock and a hard place regarding Bridgewater’s deal in 2021.

If another team wants to take it off their hands, then great. And it is certainly not as bad of a situation as what the Eagles find themselves in with Carson Wentz.

That being said, there is enough film to suggest that Bridgewater does not have the capabilities to lead another team to a Super Bowl and this could mean they take their chances elsewhere.
