Taylor Moton – Carolina Panthers OT

  • Stay or Go? STAY

This should be priority No. 1 for the Carolina Panthers. Taylor Moton is one of the league’s best right tackles and letting him walk is simply not an option if they want to stand any chance of being more competitive in 2021.

Getting such a high-caliber player to commit long-term won’t be cheap. But make no mistake, Moton is worth every cent of the megabucks deal coming his way this offseason.

If terms cannot be agreed, then the Panthers must use the franchise tag to stop Moton from hitting the free-agent market, where there would be a host of teams queuing up to acquire the former second-round pick.

Russell Okung – Carolina Panthers OT

  • Stay or Go? GO

There were some injury concerns surrounding Russell Okung when the Panthers traded away Pro Bowl guard Trai Turner to acquire the left tackle last year from the Los Angeles Chargers. These fears came to fruition during a frustrating campaign for the Super Bowl winner that saw him turn out just seven times for the organization.

Okung still played well when he was on the field. But he simply cannot be relied upon to put a consistent run of games together anymore and there is even the chance he could retire this offseason after a standout career.

Trenton Scott – Carolina Panthers OT

  • Stay or Go? GO

Trenton Scott failed his audition for a bigger role with the Panthers late in the campaign – most notably against the New Orleans Saints in Week 17 – which means the player will be one of the first to be formally let go once his contract runs out.
