Fourth-Round Pick (No. 118)

Quincy Roche – DE/OLB (Miami)

The Carolina Panthers got a good look at some top prospects when they coached at the 2021 Senior Bowl. So the eye-catching effort displayed by Quincy Roche won’t have gone unnoticed by Matt Rhule and others throughout the week.

Roche has all the athleticism and versatility that the Panthers sought heavily during their recruitment process last year. He is incredibly dynamic and it appears he’s only just scratching the surface of what the prospect is truly capable of.

His production did suffer a slight dip when he transferred to a high standard of competition in the ACC. But there is a lot to work with where Roche is concerned.

Fourth-Round Pick (No. 127)

Shaun Wade – CB (Ohio State)

Although Shaun Wade may have regressed slightly in 2020, it’s a little too soon to be giving up on the cornerback just yet and he could represent good value in the mid-rounds.

Wade was touted as a first-round pick before the season after demonstrating the sort of shutdown ability that is normally highly sought after in the NFL. Whether the Panthers and other teams across the league can overlook some major errors last time out is up for debate. But considering Carolina picked up some additional selections from two trades earlier in this simulation, they can afford to gamble on the prospect’s potential.
