It’s the season of hard decisions and the Carolina Panthers have already made their fair share. But which of these recent cuts should the team target?

With free agency in full swing and a cash-strapped offseason, many teams have made tough calls with long-time veterans and young stars that never lived up fully to the hype. This has created a pure buyers market with low-risk, high-reward options available at almost every position.

One place for Carolina to look is the pool of recently released players. Players that were cut after the beginning frenzy of signings and are looking for a new home. While this may not be the cream of the crop, they will certainly be playing with a chip on their shoulder next season.

With that being said, here are three recently cut players that should be considered by the Panthers.
