Learning from the great man himself

Denzel Perryman might have six years of NFL experience under his belt, but you are never too old to learn. This is something he’ll get a chance to do from one of the game’s greatest-ever linebackers in Luke Kuechly after deciding to join the Carolina Panthers.

Although Kuechly is no longer making a lasting contribution on the field, he is still helping those following in his footsteps with their preparations. The former NFL Defensive Player of the Year is working behind the scenes in his role as a pro scout and has gone above and beyond the call of duty with the likes of Jeremy Chinn to give current roster members every possible source of information to fully maximize their respective skill sets.

Simply put, this has the ability to benefit Perryman more than most.

Kuechly might be retired now, but he still commands the utmost respect across the NFL. So it would be wise for the new signing to listen, learn, and improve with this potential influence throughout the offseason.

This might just see Perryman take his game to new heights. The player has been a solid contributor during his NFL career so far. But this represents an exceptional opportunity to become a prominent starter and seek counsel from a future Pro Football Hall of Famer in Kuechly.

It is a win-win for all parties. Perryman has a lot going for him and if Kuechly can further steer the player on the right path, then the sky is the limit.
