Dyami Brown – WR (North Carolina)

Much like the situation with Joseph Ossai, the Carolina Panthers have more needs that need filling before getting another wide receiver. However, the more weapons Sam Darnold has to utilize, the better, and Dyami Brown has a ton of upside who would be a popular selection with the team’s loyal fanbase.

Brown is no stranger to the region having played his college football at North Carolina, where he emerged as Sam Howell’s No. 1 target and comes into the evaluation process on the back of 55 receptions for 1,099 receiving yards and eight touchdowns last season.

There is a lot to like about the skill set Brown brings to the table. Carolina lost the services of Curtis Samuel to the Washington Football Team in free agency and although they’ve signed David Moore from the Seattle Seahawks, someone like the former Tarheel could be worth their weight in gold.

The Panthers could use someone like Brown in a variety of ways. He has some impressive speed to be a vertical threat, with the prospect also possessing quick feet that allow him to get open from the slot.

Giving Darnold a foursome of Brown, D.J. Moore, Robby Anderson, and David Moore could make all the difference in the pursuit of galvanizing his career.
