Kadarius Toney – WR (Florida)

Another prospect who might be joining the NFC South from the college ranks is Kadarius Toney. He is a prominent wide receiver who should be available for either the New Orleans Saints or Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the late first-round, with both rosters having the luxury to take the best player available.

It’s hard not to look at Toney’s skill set and not think he is going to be a star at the next level. The Florida standout excels from the slot and has grown in stature with every passing season with the Gators. So landing on a contending team is sure to be the making of him.

Much will depend on how the draft plays out in front of the Saints and Bucs. There is a chance Toney is taken higher than this if a team falls in love with him, but if he were to land in the NFC South it would be bad news for the Carolina Panthers.

Toney can impact a game in multiple positions and is arriving at the next level riding on the crest of a wave after accumulating 1,145 all-purpose yards and 11 touchdowns from 89 combined touches in 2020.

This is expected to be yet another deep class for wide receivers. But there appears little doubt that Toney is one of the best of the bunch.
