5 prospects the Panthers do not want to see in the NFC South

Elijah Moore – WR (Ole Miss)
Now it’s not a given that the New Orleans Saints or Tampa Bay Buccaneers will take a wide receiver in the 2021 NFL Draft. But considering the departures of both Emmanuel Sanders and Antonio Brown respectively, this is a positional group the two Super Bowl hopefuls might want to address early in a bid to get someone to the organization that could make an instant impact.
Not many teams in the league have the luxury of taking the best player available due to needs elsewhere – but the Bucs and Saints are two of them. Any college playmaker would jump at the chance of joining either team if they’re fortunate enough to hear their name called in the late first round, with Elijah Moore one such prospect that could be under consideration at this juncture.
What Moore lacks in height (he’s listed at 5-foot-9), the player more than makes up for with elite elusiveness and a rare ability to make people miss in even the tightest of windows. Ole Miss lined him up almost everywhere on the field with equal effect, which is something that can easily transition to the NFL providing his frame can withstand some more physical hits coming his way.
The Carolina Panthers are looking to make further strides in 2021 after an encouraging start to life under Matt Rhule. But they could do without an already loaded divisional rival getting an additional weapon such as Moore to call upon moving forward.
