Round No. 4 (Pick No. 113)

Quincy Roche – DE/OLB (Miami)

The Carolina Panthers strengthened their pass-rush in free agency with the signings of Haason Reddick and Morgan Fox. However, picking up Quincy Roche makes sense here and could end up being a real steal if the prospect managed to make the most out of some outstanding physical attributes.

There might be a chance the Miami star goes higher than this considering how little there is in the way of depth coming out of the college ranks this year, but Scott Fitterer should not hesitate if he falls this far.

Carolina’s coaching staff got a good look at Roche during their time at the 2021 Senior Bowl, which gave a good indication of not only his athletic prowess during drills but also the way in which the prospect conducts himself off the field.

This was invaluable during a much-changed evaluation process due to COVID-19. But only time will tell as to whether or not any players who participated in Mobile will end up on the Panthers

Roche has everything one looks for in a prolific pass-rusher at the next level. He is explosive and physical in equal measure, so once he adds a little more refinement to his game, someone is going to have a real player on their hands.
